Glover was a 1998 Bell Tower Scholar and the former director of youth and young adult ministries in the Institution's department of religion. Glover graduated from Glasgow's Central College of Commerce, the University of Strathclyde Business School, the University of Glasgow School of Education and the University of Birmingham School of Education. He is currently academic director at Brighton College, England, and a doctoral student at Birmingham University where he is completing a post graduate degree in research methodology. Recognized to be Britain's leading authority on examination technique, Glover has worked as an examiner for Oxford and Cambridge examinations boards. In 1998 he became Birmingham's first graduate with the curriculum and assessment methodology degree. At 24, Glover became Britain's youngest educational senior manager and spent three years as a Deputy Headmaster. In March of 2000, the UK government appointed Glover to the role of National Director of Education for the government-backed Technology 2000 initiative. Glover is the driving force behind the American/British partnership conference on literacy. A lieutenant in the Royal Navy, Glover's honors include three Trooping the Colours and the privilege of representing the Navy onboard the Royal Yacht Britannia. Glover graduated from Britannia Royal Naval College where he was Officer of the Course and Mess Vice-President.
As the alumni director at the English Speaking Union in London, he is writing a book on examination techniques. He lectures, broadcasts and writes, recently becoming a free lance journalist at the Daily Telegraph in London.
