Thomas H. Troeger

Thomas H. Troeger is an ordained both as a Presbyterian minister and a priest in the Episcopal Church. He has written more than fifteen books, including, most recently, Above the Moon Earth Rises: Hymn Texts, Anthems and Poems for a New Creation (New York, NY: Oxford University Press, 2001), Preaching While The Church Is Under Reconstruction, New Proclamation (a preacher's commentary on the Common Lectionary), Ten Strategies for Preaching in a Multi Media Culture, The Parable of Ten Preachers and Borrowed Light: hymn texts, prayers and poems. Past president of the Academy of Homiletics (North America), he is also a member of the North American Academy of Liturgy and Societas Homiletica.
