Robin Wright, a global affairs correspondent from the Los Angeles Times, is a five-time Pulitzer Prize nominee; she has reported from more than 130 countries on six continents for a number of news organizations.
Wright has covered problems of the Middle East since the 1970s. In all, she has covered nine wars and several revolutions. Wright won the 1989 National Magazine Award for her work from Iran published in The New Yorker and won the Overseas Press Club Award for "best reporting in any medium requiring exceptional courage and initiative" for the Angolan war.
