Philip Marineau
Philip Marineau is president and chief executive officer of Levi Strauss & Co., a leading global apparel company with sales in more than 110 countries. For most of its 151 years, Levi Strauss has been an apparel manufacturing company. Mr. Marineau and his leadership team are transforming the company into a consumer-driven marketing company, launching Levi Strauss Signature, and overhauling the Levi?s and Dockers brand product ranges and marketing, among other initiatives. Mr. Marineau has an extensive record of achievement in consumer products marketing and management. Prior to joining Levi Strauss in 1999, he served as president and CEO of Pepsi-Cola North America during which time Pepsi outgrew Coke for the first time in years. Formerly president and chief operating officer of Dean Foods, Mr. Marineau is a 23-year veteran of Quaker Oats Company where he had worldwide responsibility for the company and its brands, including Gatorade, which he is credited with growing to a more than $1 billion global powerhouse in the sports-drink industry.
